Be sure to start rolling it out at start of roll.

It's much easier to spread than the square balls. It saves time and on back pain.

pine straw is satisfactory but the checkout process was not. I wanted 10 rolls but, at checkout, was told they had only 3. I bought 3 rolls and 7 bales. At pickup was told they had a truck load of rolls so i returned the 7 bales and bought 7 more rolls. A 10-minute event was converted into a 45-minute redundant event due to a lack of communication between employees. The gentleman who handled my return and subsequent purchase was superb as were the employees who loaded my 10 rolls.

I bought pine needles.

They were in fact pine needles and not hay. Disappointed I didn’t find the needle I was looking for.

Poor quality

Bought 4 bales. Noticed 3 were moldy when I got home and all had grass intermixed with the pinestraw which detracted from the look. Spend a few more $$ a roll and get from a local supplier.

The Worst.

It was time to refresh the straw. Went to Lowes and got 6 rolls of twigs, sticks and pine cones with some pine straw mixed in. It was by far the worst rolls I've ever seen. I'll definitely be going somewhere else for it next time. I just might try the synthetic stuff.

Do not buy this product if you are looking for fresh long needle pine straw. The six rolls I purchased were not long needle, was dry and brittle, and full of sticks. Did not carry them back because I had a job to get done. Willl NEVER purchase from here again.
