The low, 4" threshold allows for easy access to this attractive and functional safety shower. This shower features an integral "comfort height" seat, two accessory shelves, and a linear, integral ledge with a convenient towel bar. The Almedia has an easy to clean, smooth, high gloss finish. Also included with the shower kit are 3 grab bars, and a drain cover, offered in 3 finishes, as well as a solid brass drain.

Thought it would be more durable Crack after a mon
Looks nice but the shelves should not be in the shower enclosure because if a shampoo bottle falls off the shelf it will crack the shower enclosure not pleasant expensive to roof to fix and I'm wishing I would have just river rock on the bottom and maybe Corian on the sides or something Actually Corian's durable

A good fit
We are replacing a bathtub with this walk-in shower. It should be a good fit in several ways. One, it fits our aging needs. We like the bench as well as the grab bars as we are both 71 years old and we know that as we age, the bench and grab bars will be nice. Two, installation should be easy as it assembles in 4 pieces and will fit exactly where the tub was.

Don't get this item.
Do not waste your money on this. My husband, who is handicapped, and I wasted $2000. on this. The first one received cracked in the bottom the first time it was stepped on. The replacement came scratched down one corner. The only reason I kept it was because my husband needed this type of shower. The reason I gave it one star is because the delivery guys were really nice.l

Very sturdy
It was well crated and was actually heavier than i thought it would be. Panels are heavy and sturdy. Was well protected for shipping, I was concerned about shipping damage from the outside but there was none. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because 1. they try to incentivize you to place a positive review . 2. The biggest reason is that the box containing the shower rod and other misc pieces rubbed against one end of the shower enclosure and it left a permanent rub mark. I didn't t...

Sturdy construction
Very well built shower. The sections are thick and heavy. Placing the base and back wall were a two man lift for us. This is a solid shower not like the cheaper thin wall kits. I suggest you have it shipped to the store for pickup so you can inspect it. The first shower delivered to the store looked like a return reject from a construction site. It was scratched, cracked, chipped and missing all the hardware. I'm very glad I didn't have to deal with getting it picked up and returned at my house....

Peace of mind
Liked the way this shower came packed. No problems with the delivery to my store. Got it home and unpacked it and everything was still perfectly intact. Took the old tub out and the shower went straight into the opening just like it was made for it. The only problem, if that’s what you what to call it, was changing the 1-1/2” trap to a 2” trap which was no big deal for my brother-in-law. Shower works great and I do like the thicker walls. High quality worth the price!
The fiberglass of this shower is not the typical flimsy thickness, but sprayed more akin to a 1960’s sailboat hull. Really heavy duty with lots of glass strands. You could literally bolt this thing together, set it outside on the ground and it would be self supporting enough to function as an outdoor shower.
