Quality is lacking

Purchased on May 9, 2026. It is September, 13, 2026 and the lettering on the control knob has already started to peel off; that's very disappointing. Like other customers have noted and find lacking, the control panel has no backlight. The lack of back light makes it very difficult to read, especially the numeric controls. while the cooking functions of this range are nice, the user interface is lacking. The oven is CONSTANTLY off temp. By at least 25° either hotter or colder. Theres no way to tell what it’s going to be. I found where you can set it to be either more or less based on what a thermometer tells you. But you can set it for 25° less because you set it for 325° and the temp registers 350°. But after you adjust the temp regulates itself and now you’re off again. I would never buy this again or recommend it to anyone. We spent a lot of money and I researched heavily. The range is the perfect all purpose appliance for the kitchen. With the air fryer we can prepare large meals seamlessly for a crowd of guest in no time.

The display does not have a back light. Can’t read

I like how fast the burners boil water and cook food in general. Oven heats up really fast. I haven’t owned it very long, about 2weeks. I haven’t cook much yet so time will tell. So far so good. The fact that LG made a range whose display doesn’t light was a major quality control error. You can’t see the number pad or anything on the bottom of the display without a flashlight. TERRIBLE design.

So far the range has worked well. I use it every day and have not had any issues.
