LG AC didn't last 6 months

LG AC with heat pump did not last 6 months & quit cooling AC Compressor will not come on & yes we have done the Reset still nothing

Two years

installed this unit in July of 2024. was the only source of AC both heat and cool for a 32'x12' mini home. stopped cooling as of July 2026. worked great during the two years though. would give five stars had it lasted longer. warranty of course only good for 1 year

unit leaked refrigerant in lees than a year

We are an air conditioning contractor and purchased this unit for our commercial customer. After less than one year (8 months), the unit stopped cooling. We brought the unit back to our shop, only to find out that the capillary tube was rubbing on the discharge line. Warranty support from LG was the ABSOLUTE WORST to deal with.

missing parts

Lowes needs to do better and check their product returns when returning from any customer. Bought this and it was missing the panel. Now I have wasting too much time trying to replace my ac unit at work

Very happy the 2nd time

This unit is much smaller and lighter weight than the old one it replaced that was the same BTU. I like the thermostat control so you can set the desired temperature and leave it to cycle on and off as needed. The remote control is another feature I found helpful. This unit is also much quieter than the old one it replaces. The only negative was that after all the effort to install the unit I had to take it out to return to the store since the AC did not work.
