Replacement for 6 yr old same model LG countertop unit used as built in with trim kit that costs as much as the microwave. I like the depth of the cooking chamber. Takes 10 min to boil 2 cups of water. Seems like the old one took 8. LG would not be my first choice for anything but thats what was in 5 yr old home we bought. This is 3rd Replacement appliance in 6 yrs. LG does not make them to last. GE does not either.

Great countertop microwave
Excellent quality from the LG line of products. Just what we needed for our new home. Cooks evenly with a moderately simple UI. Not the biggest fan of the melodic tones that come default. However it is a minor issue in an otherwose great product.

A good microwave with one significant drawback
Overall the microwave works very well. The only complaint relates to the markings to choose the time, start, etc. the letters and numbers are too faint therefore requiring that the room be brightly lit to be able to see them and make the correct choice.
