LENOX 4-1/8-in Bi-metal Non-arbored Hole saw

Not for backer board, not worth it then

Hole saws are supposed to be useful for backer board but I know that is tough. But this one is not suitable because it was irretrievably dull after just one hole and can't even cut wood anymore. This hole saw is overpriced then. My carbide jigsaw blades do fine without any damage. I used medium speed and splashed it with water frequently.

Another clearance find

Clearance item found! I occasionally need to make big holes and this fir the bill for the right price. I already had the shank.

Lenox Hole Saw

I cut 7 holes in a ceiling of a 1930 house. The ceiling was 1 x 3 planks and extremely hard. The hole saw had difficulties but did a good job on this hard hard wood. I think it would go through new wood like a hot knife through butter.

Lowe’s Description and Images Failed me

Lowe’s needs to add better images and descriptions of its items. I couldn’t find which arbor this needed. The product worked very well though. Just had to buy extra arbors.

Very high quality hole saw! Stays sharp for a long time and does not jump while cutting.

Good saw bit

Lenox makes a good hole saw. They last a long time and take alot of abuse.
