when a 4" hole saw isn't big enough

We were installing a custom ceiling in a basement utilizing 4" round electrical boxes. I soon found out the 4" hole saw doesn't create a big enough hole for the outlet! So it's off to Lowes to get the next size bigger hole saw. I purchased this 4.25" product, it's well-built, sharp and worked with my existing arbor. It sawed thru 1/2 wood (and the occasional nail) with no issues. It's still sharp and nests in the tool bag with all the rest of the hole saws. Just what I needed!

Attaches exactly to Lenox base spindle.

Works Great!

Used this to drill a hole through the house for the purpose of mounting a dryer vent conection. It cut like butter right through the inner and outer wall from inside the house. I highly recommend this 4 1/4 inch hole saw!

Not for stucco!

I tried to use this to cut through an outside wall with stucco. It did a good job of marking the circumference of the hole, which I then cut out using my sawzall.
