Programming & re-key
The Kwikset SmartCode 260 is good, but the instruction should be improved. The instruction for programming is not clear and for re-key is a bit confusing. The "Enable/Disable auto" feature is the same sequence. There is no indicator to differentiate if the feature is enabled or disabled. This feature is disabled from the factory by default. Very Convenient
We have had this for about 2 years now. We have probably only replaced the batteries once a year. It has somewhat spoiled us. Easy to use, easy to install and easy to set up. We added one to the back door as well.
