Did the job well!

It did the job! I got this for my husband to hang up some hooks for me to hang my outdoor plants from. I didn’t realize I needed a specific size and went to Lowe’s and got this one that fit the product’s specifications and it worked very well!!

decent quality metric tap & drill bit

Have another cheap set of SAE taps, but needed a quality M6 tap. This tap set has the matching drill bit size, which is a huge benefit. Would be really nice if it came in a little plastic storage case to keep them together instead of the blister-pack cardboard packaging, but it doesn't.... No problems so far.

Drill and tap set works perfectly

The set is easy to use and provided drill bit works through metal quickly. The tap worked flawlessly with a screwdriver handle I had bough from a previous set. The product purchased is not complete without a handle, so that must be purchased separately. That is the only downside to the product.

great tools thqat will last

I had to tap some nuts that were worse for wear, they had them in stock both SAE & metric. I was able to clean up the threads of the nuts allowing proper reassembly of my mower. Nice to see the tap along with the proper drill bit of it was needed for creating a new set of threads in a new hole.

Solid tap and drill set

The tap and drill both worked well for drilling a tap hole and tapping M6 threads into brass. Both functioned cleanly and the resulting threads were perfect.

It worked well with the Kobalt carbon steel T handle. I wish it came in a metric set with the T handle. No problem with using the drill. I feel like it is a little loose but my M6 screws did work. I was tapping relatively thin metal, still backed off half a turn while tapping. Didn’t feel the need to use oil. For thicker taps, make sure you do.
