Powerful sander but will eat batteries like crazy
The sander has a powerful motor and does what a good belt sander is supposed to do. The issue is that it drains the battery so fast, it makes it really difficult to stay on the project without a number of fully charged batteries available on demand. I used two 4Ah batteries but I couldn't complete the job and had to resort to my old plug-in Makita

If I could give this sander zero stars, I would. Maybe it was my mistake thinking this belt sander could sand a door that had already been stripped - boy, was I wrong. This sander could not. It would overheat after 5 minutes use, then after cooling for 30 minutes, it would run again for 30 seconds. I thought it was defective so I went back to Lowes and exchanged it for the same model.
