What Customers Are Saying
The hole saw kit is generally effective for cutting clean, round holes in drywall, plaster, and other materials. Many found it easy to use and it helped speed up their projects. However, the hole size is slightly larger than advertised, the dust collector is not very effective, the saw blade can dull quickly, and there is a learning curve to using the tool properly. For more demanding applications or materials, a higher-quality saw may be required.

The device would be great if it were a six inch not 6 and 3/8. At it's size when you account for the brushing of the carbide it leaves a hole that is sloppy and paper tear out leaves repair and paint work or a sloppy finish. At 6 inch you may have to place a notch or two but the light will self center and cover the cut. Faster than a drywall saw but just as much work to fix the edge.

It performed as expected
I needed to drill a hole through a stucco wall to relocate a dryer vent. I saw a You Tube video where a guy used the hole saw purchased at Lowe's for the same purpose, so I purchased the same one and it worked perfectly.

Impossible to put together
Three contractors, homeowner, and Kobalt Customer Service cannot figure out how to put this thing together to use it. Kobalt customer service recommended returning it to the store as they also have ZERO instruction available to them. What a waste of valuable time.

Exact attachment I needed
I bought this to cut through existing ductwork and on through the exterior stucco of my house in order to install a new dryer vent. It breezed through the sheet metal! I had to stop at that point after realizing the concrete layer was actually my shower wall and NOT the exterior of the house 🤦♀️ but I watched a YouTube video of someone using this exact attachment to get through stucco, and have no doubt it would have done the job
