Kobalt 55-ft Indoor Red Laser Distance Measurer

EASY!!@

Small and simple! Easy to read...

works as described

Works great under 55 ft, but I need more and green laser would be better in daylight

Great for rough measurements

This is compact, easy to use measuring device. However, it doesn’t replace the need for a traditional tape measure if you are trying to get exact measurements. One thing to note, the measurement is from the back of the unit, not the front. I did lay it next to a traditional tape and it was reading anywhere from 3/16 to 1/8 different than the tape. It will be great for getting rough measurements such as figuring out the area of a room, but I wouldn’t use it any project that requires a precise...

Great for Certain Applications!

I have used similar products before and these have improved greatly in the past ten years or so. They do not replace a tape measure, however. If you need to set a certain distance such as pulling out a tape measure to 16" to mark for stud distance, a tape measure is best. Where this is an excellent tool is for work estimation. If you need a rough material estimate for a job this is a great tool to save an extra pair of hands to pull out a tape measure. I did test it against a tape measure a...

Now I just need a shark to put it on...

Quick to learn, this one button range finder is excellent. Had to read the instructions real quick just to confirm I was operating it correctly, and how to switch between the measuring units. Super simple to operate, and accurate measurements. The case feels durable so no need to be gentle. I keep mine in a little cloth bag just to protect laser lens from other stuff in the tool bag.

Accurate and compact

This compact little tool seems to work great, exactly as described. I say compact because I had a similar product years ago and it was huge. This is small, doesn't take up space and works accurately.

Easy accurate inexpensive

I put off getting a laser measuring tool for too long. This is so simple. Put it against one wall. Point it at another. Get an accurate measurement. Get room dimensions for purchasing materials, selling your home, organizing, furniture, and many more things. I just installed a light in the second floor of my house and used this to locate the distance from the side of the dormer in the attic. I also have use this to line badminton and Pickleball courts.

KOBALT 55-ft Rechargeable Laser Distance Measurer

Being an old school craftsman, I was a little reluctant to try the KOBALT 55-ft Rechargeable Laser Distance Measurer. But I can honestly say, I was very impressed with how accurate this handy little measuring device worked. Over the years, I have come to trust the KOBALT line of tools for reliability and dependability. When I opened the package, I looked for the instructions on how to operate it and after a thorough search, I found a very small booklet in between the cardboard backing in the p...
