The unit is made from high grade all welded steel construction with a tough, rust-resistant powder coat finish. 5 Drawers are all soft-close full-extension and glide effortlessly on ball-bearing slides that can support up to 100 lbs. An ergonomic handle and 5 in. x 2 in. casters allow you to easily move your cabinet around your workspace. Total weight capacity of the unit is 1,200lbs. The cabinet has lock system for added security. Pair this cabinet with the Kobalt 36-In 6-Drawer Blue Chest (item: 5071912, sold separately) to create the ultimate tool storage solution.

Lowes has done it again!

I bought this a few weeks ago and i am glad I did. Lowe's continues to put out quality Kobalt products. I is very well constructed and spacious. The color is the Kobalt blue and was just a perfect paint coating. It came with 2 sets of keys for the lock. I found the amazing craftsmanship including how the draws glide themselves open and closed and easy maneuverability. I highly recommend this too chest. Well Done Lowe's!

Had to have it delivered, no idea why this isn't standard stock in store. I like this better than the Craftsman one I bought over 25 years ago. Soft close drawers. Drawer liners included. I am using it for a 3d printer station. One place to keep all the tools, accessories, and maker components. I wish I had done this sooner.

Lower unit incorrect color does not match top unit

I purchased the top & bottom units together in green and found the bottom unit’s green color is incorrect and does not match the top unit. I contacted Lowes support and spoke with the Lowes location where I explained my situation that I am disabled and already had to pay people to bring the unit up 3 flights of stairs so I would not be able to bring it down to exchange. They wanted to charge me $80 for them to come exchange the unit then ended up giving me a partial refund as they would not come...
