Great set, poor sizing labeling

Like many other reviews have said the size and cost of this set is great. Although the lowered cost has to do with the abysmal labeling of the sockets. I'm thinking of ways to labels these myself. I'd probably not buy these again, if given the choice

Disappointing Experience

I ordered the 212-piece 12-point Kobalt socket set, but it was missing a couple of sockets. The shipping process was a mess—my order was lost at the store for a week. They claimed the label was damaged, but in reality, the label was fine; the box was just destroyed. I used to really like the Lowe’s in North Lafayette, Louisiana, but lately, it’s been disappointing. There are multiple outdated ads and old prices still on the shelves, which is misleading and frustrating.

Kobalt 211-piece Socket Set - Item # 4103168

I purchased this set along with a similar set with 6-point sockets. The 6-point set was item number 4103167. Both sets are extremely poor quality. The finish/ plating on many of the sockets is dull or the plating is not complete and peeling off. Several sockets have the metal surfaces of the sockets containing cracks and metal checking on the interior of the sockets. Great Set, Like others, some sockets were missing

Love the socket set. The engraving is nice, but wish there were deeper engraved. I really like Kobalt tools. The RED and BLUE helping identify SAE and Metric is really helpful. The only thing, like many I found at least one socket missing. Unlike others mine was the standard size 20mm, 1/2" socket, so far.

budget buy!

I bought it while on sale for $99. I also wanted the 211 6 point set but they sold out really quick. The next day it was available but back at $350. I think the set is a decent buy at $99 but not worth $350 in my opinion. Honestly wish they could have priced matched it but their policy is very cut and dry. So, decent set of sockets with no skips. The 12 point set is nice. Hopefully they warrenty process is hassle free as advertised. Time will tell.

Decent set for $100. (Purchased 12/2024) Lots of sockets that seem overall good quality though they lost two stars because you cant read the size. Over 200 sockets that i cant read.... sweet. A little dirt or grease on them hides the number. Even craftsman engraved the sized. You get what you pay for i guess.

Great set but the sizes are hard to read

This set offers great value for the price and includes a solid range of tools. However, my biggest complaint is that the socket sizes aren't engraved—they appear laser-etched, making them difficult to read unless the light hits just right. The smaller sizes are even harder to make out. If the manufacturer sees this review, I’d recommend engraving the sizes directly into the sockets and placing the markings on both sides for better visibility. Decent but missing 2 sockets

I had a set that I have put together over time that was about 98% complete. I saw this and thought it would be nice to have a complete matching set. The quality is decent, but my it was missing the 3/8 deep and regular 15/16. Also the 1/2 inch deep 3/8 inch wouldn’t fit on the peg. I also don’t care for the stamp showing the size, it is difficult to read. After spending an hour switching out my old set with the new, I’m not sure I would do it again if I had to do it over.

Absurd quantity of sockets from big to small in all drives. Kobalt is great mid tier tooling that will satisfy any hobbyist or starting tech. I have an older Kobalt set that can be difficult to read the sizes. I'm not sure I'll ever need the 1.5 inch socket but good to have I suppose! Lol.
