What Customers Are Saying
This saw offers a range of features typically found in more expensive models, performing well for basic home projects and DIY work. However, it has some limitations, including a misaligned laser guide that requires relying more on visual cues, a poor dust collection system, and the need for adjustments to the fence and bevel settings to achieve fully square and accurate cuts, especially for more precise work. Overall, it is a good budget-friendly option for occasional home use, but may not meet the needs of professional contractors or those requiring extremely precise and consistent cuts.

DO NOT BUY THIS SAW. ITS JUNK WHICH YOU MIGHT EXPECT FOR A $200 SAW WITH ALL OF THESE FEATURES BUT ITS ALSO DANGEROUS! These saws are terrible. I'm a professional carpenter and my company supplied two of these saws for a big trim job (two four story condo buildings). I was unfortunate enough to get to use one right out of the box to cut crowm molding. The first thing I noticed was the brand new blade supplied with the saw was practically mulching the trim. After 3 cuts I replaced the brand new b...

Too much flex for accurate cuts
I have had this saw for a couple years. I can not get it to make a good square, repeatable cut. I am a semi retired professional trim carpenter who has had many different saws in his career. I have adjusted both fences to be dead on square but still I get crooked cuts. At rest I can deflect the saw 1/8" to 3/16". The handle is offset to the right of center so for every cut you will be putting side pressure on the cutting head. The inaccuracy gets worse the thicker or wider the material bei...
Not impressed. Got a lesson not to buy cheap tools
I am building a house for myself this summer and my old miter saw was not a sliding saw and the switch was going out so I decided on this one because the reviews were good and the price is good. I put it on a roller stand and set the laser and saw to 90 degrees and away we go. Got first floor walls up and cussed it the whole way. This saw keeps coming out of square in every direction and I am constantly checking it. There is so much slop in the sliding rails that when cutting 2nd floor headers t...
Life saver in the garage
The cuts this thing makes are unreal! The laser light is 100% accurate when you make angeld cuts like it's intended. Dont listen to the below reviews taking about how in accurate this laser light is. Chances are they are using it to cut straight down. Quality saw, great price and the sliding features make it that much better
Nice Saw (Make sure its set up to cut square)
Very nice saw pulled it right out of the box and started to use until I found it wasn't cutting square just had to tweek a bit and everything about the saw is great. It's light in weight and easy to assemble. Power is good and very versatile.
works great
No issues. Works great. Would definitely recommend.

Very solid, semi-pro saw
A very nice unit. I bought it to cut the trim for a new kitchen, and it is surprisingly solid for the price. The indents lock in all the common angles. If you're careful (measure many times, cut once, rehearse each cut, etc.) you will get fully professional results. A couple caveats: the bevel only goes to the left, so you can't chose which is the finish side of the cut on a bevel cut. The laser alignment seem to be off on miters and bevels, even when the laser is properly adjusted for a 9...

I really liked the saw but the lock doesn’t last.
I love this saw but the laser was always off no matter how much adjusting I did. Finally after two days of use the uncommon angle lock didn’t hold position any longer. I bought the SM2515LW from kobalt for 30 more bucks and it’s built just as nice. It has a dead on laser and it’s a dual bevel to boot!
Good saw bad service!
Purchased saw in December 2018 to fill in for one of work saws being repaired. Moved my dewalt saw from home to shop and moved forward with the kolbalt saw for working on kitchen remodel. I may be over pickie but spent about 1.5 hrs. making adjustments. The saw performed very well and like the positive stops and solid extensions. Recently after very little use notice it was not cutting square. First thought was reset the fence and be good to go. Unfortunately I found the fence had broke in half ...
