Kitchen Aid 4 burner duel fuel downdraft
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this after our JennAir downdraft finally “died”. We installed ourselves which was quite a job. It is very nice so far. Only reason for the 4-star rating is that our old one had burners that you could convert into a grill which we used quite a bit and this does not have that option.

Propane top and Electric oven. If I could make one change it would be to move the computer controls to the top to the face of the stove. I learned a lot about it when I hired a plumber to bring in a gas line as the old stove was electric. I saw how the downdraft would exit and where the new gas line would attach. The stove installer had to move the gas line as it was going to block the downdraft location. The reason we replaced our Jenn Air was a similar control board issue that couldn't be resolved due to lack of parts being available. Terrible buy
I purchased this 3 years ago and am very dissatisfied with most things. First the paint comes off of the metal grates on the top of the stove. The stainless steel scratches with everything but microfiber cloth. The burner was so hot it discolored my stainless steel. The worst thing is that the burner and elements in the oven burnt up . It should last longer. I had a jenaire that lasted 35 years with one problem. The burner on the top wouldn't light automatically.
