Took the light out
Not the product’s fault, but the blue light caused me to see yellow spots in my field of vision. I took the light out and the problem went away. Not the easiest to install. The seat has to be positioned in a semi-upright position to get an angle with the screwdriver. So you are juggling the seat, brackets and the screwdriver at the same time.

Readylatch doesn’t work
Don’t buy this. The readylatch doesn’t work at all. You can unlock it and pull as hard as you want. It won’t come off no matter what you do. I’ve been through multiple of these, returning them and trying another and none of them work at all. Looking online this is apparently a common problem with Kohler ready latch. Buy a different seat if you’d like the readylatch to actually work. It’s garbage.

Installation was great, illumination not so much
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved the way this installed onto the toilet, feels very secure. The con for me is the night light, I expected the bowl to be more illuminated than it is. It needs to be pitch black for it to illuminate anything, pictures make it seem like it’s very bright however it’s a low dim even on the brightest setting.
