Gorgeous and Functional!

This piece is beautifully designed, and is a major upgrade to the standard type of drain. I like the look of the overflow/handle and the fact that there isn't a lever protruding from it for my young ones to slip and hit. My old style was the kind you manually open and close and I hate sticking my hand down in the water to drain a tub that my kids didn't when they got out. Gorgeous and Functional. Thank you!

poor instructions

had to call customer service to figure out how to install and operate. they were very patient and knowledgable. the paper instructions leave out the connection between the drain cover and the overflow cover.. as another reviewer stated, overengineered. but it does look nice and neat

Visually nice

I bought this for my n ew Kohler tub. Once you know how to use it, it works great. It doesn't have any visual directions on it so after the plumber first installed it, we were trying to use it as a pop-up like our other drains which was wrong, finally figured out it was a twist on the top overflow piece but with no arrows on the item when we twisted each way it actually just fell off. These drain covers are nice and heavy. I think they'll be long lasting and will look great in our new Stargaze tub!

Well engineered mechanism

Bought this tub plug to satisfy the wife's colour scheme and what works best in the Kohler tub we bought. Initial installation was not right by my contractor. After working with Kohler support (Great experience too!) i was able to snap in the product properly. Now, the product works very well. Only reason for 4 stars is because this product seems over engineered. Generally, i was expecting a spring loaded plug.
