Flapper valve
This replacement part works identically to the original. Installation is easy. Setting the right length on the chain is a little finicky to get the right amought of water to flush, but this is standard with all flappers.

Water still dances in toilet
We have a one piece toilet, installed in 2009. I cannot identify the model. Not sure if it is the Rialto, San Raphael, or some other one piece from that era. *Do the numbers inside the tank mean anything?* This flapper GP84995 has that odd little stick in the rear so it seemed the same as the leaking flap. However, it does not always land to completely cover the outflow hole, by a 'nanometer', hence the we constantly see water movement. I hate wasting water, but it is better than the one it...

Previous use of pieces.
Have ordered these in the past and they worked perfectly, so when the newer one started to leak it was a proprietary, but easy, to fix.

Needed some modifications
Had to thin down the black plastic cross bar with some sandpaper in order to get it to fit on my older Kohler Rialto toilet, but in the absence of other solutions it was worth it to keep my toilet from running.

Flapper valve replacement
Replaced a 18 year old valve with this newer and better design which fixed the slow leakage. Worked well. Instructions could have been a little better - pay close attention to the arrows in the pictures.
