love these doors
i bought this item 8 years ago and my dogs use the dog door every day. I close it at night frequently. I am needing a new replacement flap but haven't had any other trouble with it. Just note that the sliding door will not open the normal width because of the pet door.
Vinyl Flap does not work
We ordered the door with extra-large doggie door Save your money, the flap does not stay closed the metal piece fell off after the first week, magnets do not hold it in place, which lets cold air in, not to mention flies, VERY CHEAPLY MADE DO NOT BUY, can't even find replacement flaps for it, wish we would have just bought the sliding door without the pet door and put the pet door in the wall

Product was delivered withour a vinyl flap.
How could this happen? A pet door without a closing flap to keep out the elements. It has the vinyl glass door that opens and closes but it is just open to the outside. I would like someone to contact me and provide assistance in getting the missing part of the door that is pictured.
