Very experienced DIY guy here who has single handedly built a house and installed scores pf windows and doors over the years, including several sliding patio doors. This unit came with no instructions nor are there any on the web site. The screen was so far off in size it had been forced into the channels. Could not be adjusted, nor could it be removed non destructively. Jumped thru hoops with the warranty department, including loooong telephone times on hold. They finally agreed and promised to...

The lock on the door didn’t work right out of the box. Door slide is super difficult. Likely going to have to swap it out.

Just received my quote from Lowes for a specail order Bronze interior to match exterior finish sliding patio door. The quote came in 57% higher than the Bronze/White standard which will not work in my wood interior application. I have not purchased a patio door in many years but have had several on all of my homes and all were bronze/bronze! Obviously, I will not be purchasing a Jeld-Wen patio door from Lowes or anyone else for that matter!!!

Nice door for the price.
Quality door if installed correctly. Did it myself to ensure it was done properly. Finish on the outside can scratch off during installation if you are not careful showing the underlying white color. Most bad reviews are people complaining interior is white and exterior is brown....those people clearly didnt read description or look at the pictures. Its not a perfect, high-end door but its a very nice door for the price.

Don't Buy
These doors are bronze on the outside and white on the inside. Not what I thought I was getting. The screens won't close and the doors do not slide well.
