What Customers Are Saying

Customers are sharply divided on this seam sealer. About half praise its ability to create invisible, durable seams with strong adhesion and clear drying. However, nearly as many report severe reliability issues: dried-out adhesive in new tubes, clogged nozzles, and product bursting or leaking from seams. Many describe tubes arriving hardened or expired, requiring extensive effort to access the product. Reviewers also criticize the tube design as oversized for small jobs and prone to splitting under pressure. Despite strong performance when the product works, widespread consistency problems leave customers frustrated.

Seam Sealer

I ended up not needing the item. Took it back.

Difficult to squeeze out.

Would Not Recommend

The product works great but the difficult part is squeezing it out of the tube. Unfortunately I wasted an entire tube because everything exploded out the back end due to the pressure squeezing.

Faulty tube design or lazy product manager

Would Not Recommend

Per the attached photo, there was a plug of dried sealant prohibiting flow such that I had to cut down the nozzle to dig it out. Very frustrating and very disappointed in Taylor and Lowes for selling this. I'll think twice before going to Lowes again or buying a Taylor product.

They did not rotate their stock

Would Not Recommend

All the tubes were dried at the ends. I had to dig it out to get to the fresh part to use it.

Beware Old Stock

Would Not Recommend

The tube of seam sealer that I bought was old. The tip was clogged with dried sealer when I first cut the tip off. Nothing came out of the tip, even after clearing it with a nail.
