What Customers Are Saying
The product generally performs poorly, with common issues including difficulty cutting through materials, dull or misaligned blades, and poor dust collection. However, a minority of users found it helpful for cutting holes in drop ceiling tiles or smaller, less demanding jobs, appreciating the adjustable size and dust collection feature. Overall, the negative reviews outweigh the positive ones, and most customers would be better off with a higher-quality, fixed-size hole saw.

Terrible tool
It'll cost you more time and money in repairs than anything. As others said, the cutters grab and end up messing up your hole along with the drywall around it. Highly do *not* recommend it.
Good for occasional use
Fine for light duty work, a bit hard to adjust

poor quality
This item performed horribly. It did not contain the dust like advertised and made a complete mess. Use a hand saw in stead

Garbage
This thing is a complete waste of money. Ruined my ceiling. Caused me way more work than just cutting out the holes by hand. And it made a mess.

Not for plaster
I’m not sure if it’s noted on the packaging but don’t use this for a plaster ceiling. I never used this type of device before and I thought I’d try it to be more efficient. My first hole let me know it was plaster as it wouldn’t do the job and it ate up the cutter. I landed up using it as a template to put marks in the ceiling then having to cut them out manually. I’m sure in drywall it we be fine.

Don’t waste your money
This product is not worth $5 let alone $30. The dust bowl is indistinguishable from the packaging it comes in aside from a 3 cent washer hot glued to the center. As for the adjustable hole saw I would recommend just randomly smashing holes with a hammer as it will be more precise. Set screws don’t stay in place and the blades are dull and tend to tear drywall to shreds instead of cutting it.
Electricdude I will definitely pass your comment along to the product people. Thanks Ron at [email protected]
Time saver
