Ribbon Failure

I received one of these as a Christmas gift two years ago. It worked great for the first year and then it started shutting off automatically and flickering lights on the buttons. Turn it on then it would shut right back off. This especially seemed to happen after about 5 minutes of use. The batteries were fully charged and it had me thinking maybe it was overheating quickly. It got very annoying so I decided to shop around for a new weed eater, and was looking at the same one I already had for r...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No more clogged carburetors! Easy to maintain and use. Reversable head is nice to keep the clipping off patios etc.

Excellent trimmer, enough power to cut thick grass

Would Recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Much better than the 115il, seems to have a more powerful motor. Really like the trimmer head and the string loading.

Poor String Head

The trimmer head on this string weeder is poorly designed. The string does not feed when bumped on the ground to increase the length. There needs to be a retro fit head that allows the user to wind the string manually so it will feed properly

A Pleasure to Use

Would Recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just tried this weed trimmer out for the first time. This tool seems very well thought out. It has quite a lot of power. I was trimming some quite high and dense weed/grass that initially I was wondering how a cordless tool would do. I was very pleased and it cut this patch without even needing the power boost feature. I topped up the charge before I used it and the battery lasted over 45 minutes and there was still one bar (LED) lit when I c...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like this trimmer. It has perfect balance, and most powerful. Battery life is enough to do my whole property, plus no more cord pulling till my shoulders fall off. Life is grand!
