I love the look and feel of the ceiling fan, but the remote control only works at random times, and only from a couple of feet away. We bought this about 9 months ago but slow construction just allowed us to install. New batteries did not fix the problem. Since there are no pulls to turn light and fan on and off, we have a pretty but useless decoration professionally installed on our ceiling.

Does not provide good light.
The ceiling fan looks nice in my bedroom. My complaint is that the light bulbs that were provided are VERY dim. I feel like I am in a cave.

No chains with unit.
The fan looks good and runs fine. The huge drawback is that you have to stand directly under the fan with the remote to control the fan functions. The remote doesn’t work across the room or while laying in bed to get it to turn on or off. The is very aggravating having to get out of bed to turn it on. There are no chains with the fan and the remote is the only way to control it.

Bent when unpacked
The adapter at the ceiling was bent upon opening the box. The receiver for the remote is large and doesn’t fit under the ceiling mount without cutting into ceiling. Glass cover has to be gently screwed on and it is hard to tell if it is secure and since the control to change fan direction is under it I will be removing it twice a year. I am not pleased overall but had to hire it installed and don’t want to remove and return. Would not buy again and would love to replace.

I paid for installation and the installer has not installed or even called. Lowe's hiring Angie's List to subcontract is resulting in bad customer service.
