I read all the other reviews.....I don't understand the negative ones. Product does exactly what it claims. The texture comes out really well if you follow the directions. If the texture isn't as heavy as you want then go over it again, and again, etc. till you get the texture you want. Why not 5 stars? Is cuts paint coverage by about 40% +/-.

Not very good for ceilings

I recently applied some paint with this texture additive last night and I must say that it was less than impressive. As per instructions, I mixed 1 package with 1 gallon of paint and applied with both a coarse roller brush and your run of the mill soft roller brush. The coarse roller brush worked the best for applying the paint with additive, however over a 2 sq ft area, I only saw a few flecks of the sandy texture.
