Quit Working
I have had this unit for 4 months and use it occasionally about once a week and this morning turned it on and the water would not dispense. I’ve made sure everything is clean and no blockage. Just turns on and no water comes out very disappointing to spend money and didn’t even last a year.

3 Months and Now It’s Dead!
Got this December 25, 2024 for a Christmas present and now on March 14, 2025 it’s dead! It worked great until it didn’t…..

the steam wand leaks constantly even when not pressing the steam button. there is no indicator on how much you are dispensing, you need to use a clear glass to get any idea. the water dispenses fairly lukewarm. the steam/nosteam knob is plastic, feels like it will break at any moment.

Love It!
We have been making pour over coffee. I made my first espresso as soon as the the HB Slide & Lock was delivered. I used the same coffee I had been using for my pour over. What a huge difference! The crema was such a surprise. I used the frothing wand on the regular creamer we use which completely elevated the flavor. I love the water reservoir. It's so easy and quick to make individual espressos in the morning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is small and mighty. This is a great addition to my coffee station. I can enjoy my espresso or make lattes at home. The machine was easy to set up and easy to use. It is so nice to have the frother attached to the machine and I can warm my milk up as hot as I like. This will make a great addition for anyone that wants to take their coffee to another level.

Issues with Espresso
Espresso 40730 make good espresso, but has not been reliable. Followed many troubleshooting recommendations, but unit is no longer working to make good coffee. Have been very disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We made a great coffee bar for the Slide and Lock Espresso Maker. It is so easy to use and clean. It's compact and fits well on the counter. Love the design and functions. Frothing milk is easy and great. We seriously have used this espresso machine evry day since we received it. The coffee tastes wonderful and reminds me so much of Italy. We absolutely love it and recommend getting one as soon as possible.
