Do Not Buy This Door!

Not Put together! We went to Lowes with our pickup truck thinking we could buy a complete door, but were told we would have to order one. Normally I check reviews, etc when I buy online, but because we were working with an employee, ordering at the counter, that didn't happen. The overpriced door is poorly painted-primer painted-that is horrible!! During assembly it chips, flakes, scuffs, etc. The finished door will need to be repainted!!! Meh

I am only giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because it is a door and it does function as one. Upon opening the box, I noticed that some boards had chips on the ends. There were several more chips in random places as I went through the boards. This was disheartening since I just spent $500 on the set up. The boards are painted very poorly, there's a paint smudge of what is clearly a hand on one of the boards. Door didn't fit together

We purchased this barn door from Lowe's website on 26JUN23. We received it on 03JUL23 and promptly put it together. The directions weren't great, but we figured it out. It turns out that the slats in the door were too wide, so the end piece wouldn't fit. The slats on the door should have been flush with the support pieces, but as you can see in the photo, they weren't. The slats were 11/16" too wide. Beutiful barn door and great price!!!

We recently added a new kitchen with a laundry room at my old house and one of the things that we wanted was a nice barn door. We went many different places looking for one and they were either too expensive or too ugly. We we found this on online we just bought it because the price was a decent price and from the pictures it looked OK at best. We were not expecting for it to be this nice!!!! Doors need assembled

I ordered two doors. They have to be assembled. One was in good condition and easy to assemble. One was damaged and didn’t assemble without carpentry intervention. Additionally the boards of the damaged door vary too much in color.

Terrible quality & over priced

Came with so many defects in the wood it was unusable. Even if the defects weren't there, it's a very flimsy wood construction. Returned for refund. Don't even want a replacement. See the photos!

The product arrived damaged.

The product arrived bent and not properly cut for pieces to connect. We've hired someone to professionally put it together, but if they aren't successful we'll need to return it.

Terrible instructions

The style of the door is great but the finish doesn't look finished. The instructions were not very helpful at all. They were minimal and difficult to use since the paper and print were quite small. We finally had to result to finding a youtube video to be able to assemble the door.

You have to assemble the door yourself.

The door comes in unassembled pieces. You have to put the door together and that information is not clear in the description online.

Terrible quality

While it's an attractive rustic door, the slats do not fit well leaving gaps. The wood had a splinter near the bottom and the soft close doesn't work well making it difficult to open and close. Because you have to use some force to open the doors they never align correctly. Hopefully we can return them.
