Caramel Cocktail Persimmon is a hybrid marvel more than 10 years in the making. Caramel Cocktail has a craveable flavor profile that includes honeyed caramel, nutmeg, clove and vanilla. What makes these vibrant orange, larger-than-average fruits even more unique is their ability to fully ripen and lose their astringency on the tree, something that's hard for most persimmon fans to believe. Offering nearly seedless harvests when planted alone, Caramel Cocktail produces larger yields when paired with a pollinator. This variety grows 35 to 60 ft tall and, once established, and produces 2 to 4 bushels of fruit from September to December.
