Sundance Apple Tree bears large fruit with porcelain to yellowish green skin, often with a red blush and creamy white flesh. It boasts a delightful popping crisp texture ideal for fresh eating and pies, holding its texture and baking up perfectly, not too hard and never mushy. It has an exceptional sweet tart flavor with refreshing hints of pineapple and lemon. Fruit matures in mid to late October, but hangs on the tree up to a month without loss of quality. Sundance has exhibited excellent resistance to scab and cedar apple rust, too. Hardy in USDA zones 5 to 8.
