We have two HVACs and two programmable thermostats. One was upstairs. We didn't use the programmable feature because our routines are not.......that routine and, if we aren't planning to be around the house for long, no reason to run heat or AC and then take off. Missing features and major issue

I bought two Nest thermostats to run the two HVAC units I have in my home. I've found two issues and would buy a different brand if I had to do it over. First, the thermostats can't sync with each other so the I can have a master and a slave unit. If I want one to be certain temperature, I want them both to be the same. No way to do that. The thermostats started out great. We have a large house so we have 5 and plenty of experience with them. I bought (3) Nest Learning Thermostats a year and a half ago for the convenience of wireless . Very disappointed with Nest to control the temperature. The Nests will not hold a constant temperature. They let temperature rise 2-3 degrees above setpoint before turning off (disabled all the eco features) and they will cool and overshoot if humidity control is on. I always do a lot of research before I make purchases like this. I read reviews good and bad. What I learned about wifi thermostats was there are people who love them or hate them. It was no different with the Nest thermostat. I read so my complaints about it, I almost didn't get one.
