installed fan per instructions. The fan runs and the light comes on, but the remote will not operate either part of the fan. Tried to install the app with same results. The instructions on pairing the remote do not pair it. I will be returning the fan this week to purchase a real fan with a real company.

Globe Colossus Remote Control Fan Won't Run

Purchased in March, quit working September 1st. The remote is difficult to operate, does not respond quickly. Have to push button on remote multiple times to get the fan to turn on. Yesterday the light started flashing and it won't respond to the remote. Checked online, shows that it is stuck in pairing mode, will not respond to suggested fixes. Buy a fan with a pull chain switch.

The fan looks great, but after raising the canopy cover to the ceiling, the remote would no longer work. It's almost like the receiver antenna was missing, and since this fan obviously depends alot on remote control, it was stuck on one setting. It was a huge pain in the rear setting this up, trouble shooting for several hours, then taking it down. Fortunately Lowe's took it back and I got a full refund. I bought a similar style Hunter fan and it worked great the first try...straight out of ...

I purchased this fan less than one month ago, after installation everything worked as it should. However a week after installation the white light option no longer worked as it should. When the switch was on the remote could not be used to change the light brightness nor tone. This means I could not run the fan without the light being on. It is seemingly stuck on the brightest setting. I even had a licensed electrician to verify the wiring was correct. Their idea is something in the receiver is ...
