Boxes not only add beauty and hide the undesirable parts of your tree, but they also prevent kids and pets from getting into the bottom side of your tree.they are made of solid wood. There are 3 panels and each panel has a locking bracket on them. They will be shipped flat and minimal assembly is required with no tools necessary. You will simply take the two side panels and lock them into the front panel. From there you can then slide your box into place in front of your tree. When the sad day of taking your Christmas tree comes, you can simply unlock the box by lifting the two sides up, and then it can be stored flat. This size fits most standard tree bases.
