What Customers Are Saying
Customers appreciate the classic wrought iron aesthetic and affordability, with many calling it a bargain and noting it complements older homes. However, a substantial portion report significant durability concerns, including poor paint finish, rust appearing quickly after exposure to moisture, and thin metal construction. Several mention needing immediate repainting or repairs post-installation. Some note installation requires modifications like cutting bevels or welding. A few warn the product is unsuitable for weight-bearing applications on stairs despite being marketed as a safety item. Overall, most value the decorative appeal and price, but durability issues concern many.

I wasn't impressed with the method of shipping. It took a long time and when I received it, I was surprised to see that it was shipped simply wrapped in plastic wrapping with nothing to protect the paint. I've used this product before for stair handrail and it works great. Easy to install and inexpensive compared to pricey aluminum railing. I would recommend this to people but if you can get it in-store, do that.
Can't write a review yet. Only half the order came so we could not install it yet.

Why do they have the cut outs on each baluster with such sharp edges? This is a safety concern. Why are they already scratched up in the store? They need painting right away because they scratch so easily.
