Garmin is such a great company. They stood by the warranty on my original Instinct Tactical and replaced it with the awesome Instinct 2 Solar Tactical. I am loving it, and the altimeter and other sensors are working extremely well. I’m so stoked to try out the backcountry skiing mode this winter! All the different sport modes and downloadable workouts are great!

Great watch
So happy with this watch. It was an upgrade from the original and the new features and enhanced features are remarkable. Great watch for my line of work.

Familiar to Garmin Instinct Users
I received this watch as a replacement for my original Garmin Instinct Solar watch purchased in 2021, this upgraded model is of the same quality and the replacement price made it an excellent value!

Great watch!
I have used it in various environments and for various tactical tasks and it has worked great! All the features you need in the field and user interface is very simple.

It’s a good watch
It’s a good watch but the watch bands don’t last very long and the battery lasted about 2 years before I had to send it in to be replaced
From Garmin
Exactly what I wanted!
Sometime technology can be too much, sometimes it can be not enough. This watch has the exactly what I’m looking for. The focus on what matters with very little distractions. I love it! Great for people who are looking for highly accurate health metrics, little distractions and outdoor tactical edge features.

Good battery & features, but heartcount inaccurate
Love the long battery life, great integration to my iphone, features with notification and step count. Haven’t used the navigation and other features enough to be familiar but is a good upgrade from my iWatch series 5. However the heart count is inaccurate, I heavily leaned towards buying a new smart watch to monitor my heart count while working out and even when my heart rate is above 125 tge readibg shows 90 and I am quite disappointed.

Updated my Instinct 2
I updated my older Instict 2 to a newer Instinct 2 Solar Tactical. Love this watch! Has additional features that rock and the reliability that Garmin brings to great outdoor adventures!

Instinct 2 Solar
So far, this watch has been excellent. It keeps up with strength training and runs accurately, keeps track of health information, and gives helpful insights into training condition. I just hope the battery lasts, as the original Instnct Solar failed far too early in it's life. .
