What Customers Are Saying
The reviews present mixed opinions on the quality and effectiveness of the ladybugs. Some customers were satisfied with the pest control benefits, but the majority reported significant issues with the condition of the ladybugs upon delivery, with a large portion being dead or dying. Customers attributed this to poor storage and handling, leading to high mortality rates. Some also noted discrepancies between the advertised and actual quantity of live insects received. Overall, there are concerns that the retailer is not equipped to properly care for and sell live ladybugs, resulting in a negative experience for customers.

I purchased what was advertised as a container of non-invasive ladybugs from Lowe’s, only to discover they were actually Asian lady beetles — a known invasive species that can bite, invade homes, and pose a mild risk to pets. The packaging did not mention the correct species (Harmonia axyridis) and falsely claimed they were non-invasive, which is simply untrue according to USDA and environmental authorities. This kind of labeling is incredibly misleading, especially for customers trying to supp...

Diseased
We followed all the instructions on the container. When I checked on my plants the next day they were dead ladybugs with white stuff on their stomaches. Turns out this is a fungus that can infect your garden. Not only a waste of money but not happy about having an additional problem I need to deal with.

I walked past a display rack that was filled with these I picked one up and all the ladybugs were dead. I bought a couple to set these poor guys free. The ladybugs have no moisture and I'm not sure how much food these guys have either. They cram “at least 250” of these into one small container. This is flat out cruel and shouldnt even be a thing.
Lowes does NOT know how to keep ladybugs alive
Lowes does not keep ladybugs alive in the store. No moisture and not stored in a refrigerated unit to keep them dormant until you get them home safely to release in the evening. When I went into the Longmont location, whole display was dead or near death!!! SAD and disturbing.
Ladybugs 🐞 are great in the garden
Love the amount of ladybugs and the packaging

Lots of them!!
I can't say they eat as advertised bad bugs cuz just put them in garden space,there was so many I truly felt creepy sure they had to be crawling on me!;
More than half were dead
There is no way there was 250 ladybugs in here. The container says 250 live ladybugs and we maybe got 50 at the most. I would not recommend this company. They clearly do not know how to appropriately package and care for ladybugs.
ZERO RATING
I have gone to Lowe's to the garden department to wear I find containers of ladybugs dead why because nobody gives them water I went and got a spray bottle off the shelf filled it with water and told the cashier in the garden department to water the ladybugs three times a day I missed them and they all just scurry towards the water so lows get it together tak e care of the creatures you're making money on don't be a LADYBUG KILLER
