Drain pump turns on randomly
Bought this washer March 2025 and it has been a little over a year now. The washer drain pump would turn on at random times, trying to drain (an emtpy tub). I read online that I can unplug the washer for 15 minutes to reset itself. It did turn off the pump, however, the issue is still there. Designed to break
We bought this washer 3 years ago. Our warranty expired in December of 2025. The first part that broke was the inverter. It cost $450 for parts and labor. The repair guy told us that he fixes these a lot and like clock work they usually break in the 3rd year. He also told us that since the inverter went out that the control board was likely next. Immediate problems and noone to contact
We have had issues with the washer ever since we purchased it about a year ago. We have had technicians come in 4-5 times already. We have have been out of a washer for 3 weeks. There is no human to connect to at GE - its a loop of automated calls. Worst ever decision to go with GE appliance. Never again!

Do Not Buy This! Super Unreliable Product
This machine was great for the first year and a half, then the control board broke, just in time to be outside of the 1 year full product warranty. Talking to the repairman he said this is very common with this product (and is a close to $500 repair!) save yourself the money and headache and buy something reliable instead.

Not Reliable
We’ve had this washer and dryer set for exactly 1 year. Washer is extremely loud. Parts on it are plastic and cheap. Now door won’t lock and service will cost approximately the price of a new unit! Service tech said he’s been seeing multiple issues with this brand. Would not recommend.

Amazing Job
The two installers who came to set up my washer and dryer did a spectacular job from start to finish. They were incredibly professional, quick, and made sure everything was connected and working perfectly before leaving. Based on this great experience, I would highly recommend buying your appliances from Lowe's!
