Not impressed and very disappointed

First, let me start by saying the delivery guys fail to leave the product manual for the washer and the dryer. When I reached out to Lowes to have them to send me a manual in the mail, they refuse to do so. I also reached out to GE. they also refused to send me a manual in the mail. Great Product, Lint filler time will tell?

Dryer is very good drys quickly seems to run at a shorter time then the old one we had. The only thing I was not impressed with is the lint filter which is a folding style it seems that the area where it folds is already showing stress lines and wear after only a month of use. Not sure how it will hold up over time. Time will tell. Would have given it a 5 rating except the lint filter issue.

Good Dryer

The dryer works great. It dries quickly. I can do multiple loads in a row without having to wait for the dryer to finish. It fits a very large load. It removes an actually insane amount of hair and lint. My clothes always had dog fur on them with my old dryer but that isn’t an issue now. I haven’t used the steam or sanitize features yet but I’m looking forward to it.

This dryer is awesome. So quiet, so efficient. And the dryer control from the washer is top notch. Set it and forget it. Notifications are also excellent. No more wasted trips to the basement.

Great features!

This dryer is fantastic. Huge capacity with great performance. You can barely hear it run. The steam feature is great, leaving the clothes with barely a wrinkle. We haven't tried the sanitization function yet but are looking forward to it.

So far so good

It works great. The test will be how close it comes to the service life of our 2002 Maytag dryer which was working perfectly when replaced. Only reason we replaced it was to match the Maytag washer that was also working perfectly but getting loud.

Update. I do like this dryer. Large loads are tough as i typically have to run the cycle again to get the load fully dry. Using the timer has help to mitigate this issue. The plastic window on the door has broken off and it's been only 25 days since I've purchased the dryer so it's takes on now and needs to be replaced. That's the only major issue.

Dries fast!

Beautiful set! We’ve had it a few weeks and so far we love it. It dries clothes so quickly! I have been making sure the lint trap is cleaned out each time to keep it working just as good, that is something I’ve slacked on with previous dryers.

Great Dryer!

I've not had my dryer very long so I can't go in to too much detail but I'm super happy with it so far. My dryer previously would alert me all the time that the lint screen needed to be clean even though it was. This one never does that. It also seems really spacious and seems to dry really quickly. Most loads seem like they are done in 30 minutes and I would say I tend to put in large loads. Really happy with it and the matching washer.

Improvements needed

The design of the lint filter is awful. Every time I use it, I feel enraged by the effort required to clean not just the lint filter itself, but also the lint that accumulates on the lining of the walls where the trap sits. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put 130 tiny individual holes in the filter must have a sadistic streak. I never expected to feel this angry over something so seemingly trivial that I would sit on the floor of my laundry room and write about it.
