Unneeded “upgrade”
I don’t need a voice to tell me to evacuate. Has the general population of the US become so stupid that it cannot understand what to do when the alarm sounds? I’d rather save a few $ than pay for a voice, but this is the only replacement available for a two year old First Alert 7010B that failed.

Feel safe with this alarm!
Got this for a replacement of the same brand. The model I was replacing wasn’t available, but this plugged right in without having to change any wiring. They have to change the base from the old to the base that came with this detector.
