Filtrete Air Filters capture large airborne particles. Available as pleated or flat panels, these non-electrostatic home air filters capture lint and household dust.

Outperforms fiberglass air filters for your furnace, air conditioner or HVAC system
Change filter at least every 90 days For optimal performance of your heating and cooling system or HVAC system
For residential use only
Basic has a rating of MERV 1
The higher the MPR, the more microparticles - such as pollen, pet dander, smoke, bacteria and viruses -- your filter will capture from the air passing through it
A dirty filter will slow down air flow and make the system work harder to keep you warm or cool -- wasting energy. Sign-up for a filter change reminder program that works for you
Create a change countdown-in the Filtrete Smart app. Simply use the app to scan the barcode on your filter's packaging, then choose 30, 60 or 90 days for your replacement countdown. When the lifespan is up, you'll get a notification to change your filter

Prepare to be Amazed!

I purchased this filter a few days ago. Before installing this filter, my husband was sneezing very often everyday. We were so amazed the first day, he did not sneeze at all; everyday since, it has been the same. I know a person would have a hard time believing it could work so well and so fast, but it is absolutely true. Thank you for making such a wonderfully made product.

Terrible filter

Cheaply made filters. I've been buying this line of filters for years and these are absolutely ridiculously thin and flimsy; toilet paper thin and should be used as such.

Good Value - Too much Cardboard

I just picked up an order of 12 filters: 12" X 36" Basic MERV 5. I have not used them yet - but, when I do I'll write another review. The picture on the retailer's website showed the Filtrete filters with no cardboard covering the front. What I picked up, had lots of cardboard covering up the front. You would have to think that if 30% of the front of the filter is covered with cardboard that would not be a good thing. I'll try to add a photo - but that function is greyed out. Maybe it will l...

Design is Questionable

Major concern with mesh/plastic on opposite side of air flow. Concern with fibers going into furnace.

My trusty filter

I have been using this particular brand and type of furnace filter for decades! It seems to do a fabulous job of catching the gunk out of the air that comes through the furnace system. Two thumbs up from me!

Flimsy new design

I have been using filtrate filters for years. The new design is getting sucked in to my energy efficient furnace. Does not happen in the regular furnace. There is not enough support for the filter. They need to go back to the old design. I will have to look into a different brand
