Good but has it downsides

As alot of people previously mentioned, this fan is fairly difficult to install. It has a reciever which slides above/into the mounting bracket. The reciever has 8 wires! Three on one side: hot, neutral, and ground which connect to your power supply lines from the ceiling/attic. Then it has 5 wires on the other side of the reciever that connect to the fan’s motor. Great fan

We bought 2 of these fans. Both work amazingly and i actually need a blanket while watching TV during the heat of Texas summer. Don' Buy this fan by Fanimation

DO NOT BUY THIS FAN!!! I had a licensed electrician come install this fan twice. The first time, he installed it, the fan blades were about 1/5 centimeter off the screw holes. I had to call the manufacturer, who was in no hurry to send me new blades. The second time the installer came out, the blades seemed to work, however, the base of the fan was extremely wobbly. I cannot turn the fan on high unless I want to risk losing a body part. Fanimation sucks with customer service. They just tell you...

Love This Fan!

I purchased 2 of these fans. One I installed in the living room and one in the dining area. They look great with my gray wood floor and the air movement is amazing! They are so quiet that you wouldnt know they were on if you didn’t see the blades spinning! The number of speeds may be overkill as the air flow is great as I mentioned! Beautiful and Effective

The fan looks excellent with our decor. It is a subtle grey color so it blends nicely, but it's such a unique look that it adds a little something extra. Despite only having 3 blades, the fan moves a lot of air, even on a low setting. The handy little remote means we don't have to stand on the bed to change the speed or direction. Our checkout didn't offer the option of installation (that's a whole other story) but our TaskRabbit guy had no issues installing the fan. I'm very excited about it!

better style than air output

we ordered two of these fans when we remodeled 4 years ago. I still like the minimalist style but it does not move as much as air as needed, and in hot AZ summers, that's a problem. Plus sometimes they just stop and I have to go over to turn them on again. It is possible that a neighbor has a remote that interferes but be aware that it has been an issue for us. I plan to buy new fans and move the fanimation to smaller rooms where they have less air to move.

great fan bad instructions

I have low ceilings so also ordered the low ceiling kit which eliminates the down rod. Good. Bad, the instructions jump back and forth from the "low ceiling kit" to the owners manual installation instructions. A few steps are COMPLETELY missing from the otherwise detailed directions. 60in Prop style fan

Ordered at store, delivery to my home fast, was somewhat disappointed in the 'antique' looking finish in grey (greige) as I thought the grey color would be more reflective of the design, i.e. a real Prop; which these days is probably an aluminum allow material. perfect look in my family room

This fan looks great! I have 2 in my family room on 20’ ceilings. I also purchased an 18” downrod which was perfect. The texture and exposed screws add a rustic vibe to this otherwise contempory prop fan. Additionally, I love that the remote enables controls for clockwise and counter clockwise operation. The guess work on the direction is removed with the simple press of a sun for summer or a snowflake for winter.

Has only one speed--slow

This is a beautiful fan that garners tons of compliments for its looks but it is too slow to produce a significant breeze. I had it professionally installed and have no problems with functionality. It remains flush with the ceiling when in operation without wobbling and the blades rotate evenly both clockwise and counterclockwise. If the review was for looks alone, I'd give it 5 stars but it's practically useless as a fan.
