Use the Pop-Up Drainage Emitter downstream to discharge water collected upstream and carried away from structures, erosion-prone landscapes, and poor drainage areas. The pop-up drain emitter has an elbow which connects to 3 in. sewer and drain (S&D) pipe; pipe adapter connects to 3 in. and 4 in. corrugated pipes, 3 in. and 4 in. sewer and drain pipes, 3 in. and 4 in. triple-wall pipes and 4 in. schedule 40 pipe. When water pressure builds, the cap “pops up” as high as 1 in. to release water at up to 56 GPM. Cover closes once the flow diminishes. Cap and cover made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE); elbow made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC); adapter made of styrene. Pop-up drainage emitters are part of a complete drainage system used for stormwater management. They work with pipes, catch basin drains, channel drains, trench drains, and drain grates that filter, capture, and convey excess water to drain pipes; the pipes carry the water downstream to discharge with a pop-up emitter, or to percolate into the ground with a dry well or infiltration trench. Discharges collected water at a point of release downstream
Connects elbow to 3 inch and 4 inch corrugated, SDR 35, and Schedule 40 pipe
Product includes the pop-up emitter and universal pipe adapter in one.
Small weep hole in elbow drains out any water in the pipe to prevent stagnation or freezing in cold weather
Cap on cover pops up as high as 1 inch once water pressure builds and closes as flow diminishes, when not in use, cap stays closed to keep debris and rodents out of drain
Flange design prevents grass from growing over the cover
Flat profile design reduces trip hazard posed by open drain, closed position keeps emitter flush to the ground and safe from lawn mower blades
Install the pop-up drainage emitter at the lowest point in the drainage system, place in areas away from buildings, landscapes, and poor drainage areas
Comes with one Pop-Up Drainage Emitter, Elbow, and Adapter
