Garbage Product

I purchased this switch on 2/4/23 and in just over a month, the buttons have stopped working on it and we can only control it using the app. Replacing with something reliable.

Installed within 10 ten minutes

This switch was easy to install and easy to set up.

Save your money!!

Purchased two of these switches, one broke within a week. Save your money and go with another brand. The switch will stop responding and the only way to reset is to turn the breaker off and back on.

Very difficult to get to work

I bought one of these and installed it. It took a number of factory resets to get it to be recognized by the zwave network with the security key. The switch did not work properly before being added to the network. Afterwards, seemed fine. Didn't really use the switch, but in the initial testing, worked well enough. Bought 2 more. Same issues. Very finicky about doing factory resets and being recognized by the network. There are only 6 devices total on the network, so it's not a network traffic...

They'll all fail in a matter of weeks

I installed four of these switches. The physical dimmer switch has failed on all of them. They worked for a few days to a few weeks, but they all failed. They can be dimmed through the controller, but not physically. Buyer beware.

Piece of garbage

Do not buy this. I have several zwave switches from different manufacturers (zooz, ge/jasco, etc). This one stops working after several months where the physical buttons simply do not respond until you power cycle the unit. Good luck trying to contact support on a warranty claim too.

Easy install, lights and dims...but...

It’s works as advertised, but you need to purchase the hub separately. Adding another piece of electronics to the mix is a bit much. You have Google homes, Alexa’s and now the Eaton hub to control it with voice commands. A lot of “extra parts” in order to get it up and running...You’d be better off purchasing one that is Alexa or Google compatible without the extra parts needed. Lowe’s has a great selection that are ready to go without the add-on purchases to complete setup.

EATON Wireless Dimmer

The product is as described but I didn't realize that it isn't compatible with my house wiring. I have 3 wires going to my light. The smart dimmer has four wires. The installation instructions were easy to follow but did not address my situation. It appears that the only way I can make it compatible with my wiring is to pull in another wire which is not happening. I guess my light is going to become smart. It's a great product. I just couldn't figure out how to make it work with my wiring.
