Good Z-Wave switch, qwirky toggle

First things first – this is a Z-Wave switch, and it will require a compatible hub. That’s indicated on the packaging, but may not be clear. First and foremost, you DO need the hub to voice control this light switch. I did not know that until I had already received this item. I thought I could just control it through an Alexa but you can't without the hub. The light switch will work though without the hub you just can't use to voice assistance. Very difficult to get to work

I bought one of these and installed it. It took a number of factory resets to get it to be recognized by the zwave network with the security key. The switch did not work properly before being added to the network. Afterwards, seemed fine. Didn't really use the switch, but in the initial testing, worked well enough. Bought 2 more. Same issues. Solid Dimmer with Easy Connection

I installed this in my guest bathroom and love the usability of the device. It has the capability to change the dimmer level without having to turn it on. It's a quality unit that feels solid when turning in on and off and fades on and off. It connects to z-wave easily. EATON Wireless Dimmer

The product is as described but I didn't realize that it isn't compatible with my house wiring. I have 3 wires going to my light. The smart dimmer has four wires. The installation instructions were easy to follow but did not address my situation. It appears that the only way I can make it compatible with my wiring is to pull in another wire which is not happening. I guess my light is going to become smart. It's a great product. I just couldn't figure out how to make it work with my wiring.

Good little convenience

This z-wave dimmer is super convenient. It's extremely easy to setup and is almost exactly the same as any other dimmer except you cannot wire it hot because it might destroy it. I'm not sure who wouldn't kill the circuit before wiring a switch, but I'm sure they exist. Setup on the Almond + hub was extremely easy as well and the dimmer was recognized without a pin or url. Dimming after setup worked well. Integration with IFTTT works great. Overall a great addition to a 'smart' home.
