This allows you to achieve the same look as metal panels for a fraction of the cost. Time is also saved with the ease of installation because they are light weight and easy to work with, simply glue-up to walls, ceilings or backsplashes and cut effortlessly with a scissors. Our panels are ready to install right out of the box, unlike tin ceiling tiles which need to be painted to prevent rusting, making these a perfect choice for your next DIY project. Why use more of your valuable time and money when you can save and it's impossible to tell the difference after installation with 10 designs and eight available colors, you're sure to find something you like. In addition to white; creme, black, brass, bronze, nickel, copper and fused bronze are also available in select patterns.

MISLEADING PRODUCT ADVERSTISEMENT

You advertise the product search under "Nickel Metal/Tin Surface-mount" when in fact it is not. Scrolling through the product details, that is where you find the product is actually a poly styrene and not any way shape or form a metal product- FAUX TIN. This should be the first bit of information that a consumer is made aware of when searching and applying product filters in search for ceiling tiles made of metal or tin and not look-alike or substitute or FAUX products. POORLY AND DECEPTIVELY AD...

I am a novice DIYer. I purchased these ceiling tiles to replace my popcorn ceilings. Easy to cut, light weight and easy glue up. Loctite Power Grab Adhesive works well. Love it so much I am replacing all my popcorn ceilings with these ceiling tiles. If I can do this so can you.

Looks great, but has a design flaw ...

Would Recommend

Put it in our bathroom and it's so pretty! It's the fanciest room in the house now. Unfortunately, it has a design flaw that makes installation harder than it should be. It would have really helped if they'd left a long & short edge flat instead of with the raised design. Then you'd be able to put one edge on top of the other cleaner & flatter than the raised edge allows. Or end it before that raised edge & you'd be able to install directly against each other instead of over lapping.

Would Recommend

Used this as a back splash in my kitchen rather than as a ceiling tile & I love it! As a matter of fact, after re-doing my cabinets I have some space where the back splash doesn't quite come up far enough anymore (as you can see in the pictures), so I'm actually going to reorder because this is such a great price! (Note: You can cut this easily with a box cutter. I used liquid nails to apply it to the wall. Super easy and looks great!)

surface mount ceiling tiles

They look great, but it is a hassle to keep all the corners and edges down tight. Instructions say to keep glue 1" from edges, this doesn't work well. I needed to add glue at the edges.

Would Recommend

I purchased this to use as a ceiling in my basement bathroom. It cuts easily with either heavy duty shears or a utility knife, but we used the shears. We used a construction adhesive to attach to the green board. I think my son, who did most of the work, was a bit skeptical at first, but he quickly thought otherwise. It looks fantastic, and I wouldn't hesitate to use it elsewhere. I'm glad I decided to use this product, I'm very pleased with the results.
