The mortar-free, Quick Tech® Glass Block Installation System consists of a 37.4-inch Horizontal Profile spacer, a 6.7-inch Vertical Profile spacer, and REDI2BOND glass block silicone (Each component is sold separately)
Eliminating the need to use mortar, the Quick Tech system uses silicone and grout and simplifies installation of smaller, straight glass block projects (no masonry experience required)
For use with 3-inch thick Design It and Design It Mendini series glass block only (this system is not compatible with other brands of glass block)
Permits a trial layup of the first one or two courses of block to check for fit before beginning actual installation, if desired
Joints are finished with grout; straight wall projects anchored on 4 sides may be finished with silicone joints (silicone joints are not recommended for wet wall projects such as exterior walls)
Horizontal and vertical profile spacers are made of corrosion-resistant plastic and can be cut to fit special sizes and shapes
37.4-inch Quick Tech Horizontal Profile spacers are positioned horizontally between each glass block and provide consistent, evenly spaced joints for professional results
Vetro Quick installation system components and Quick Tech installation components are not interchangeable and cannot be used in the same project
Recommended for interior projects not to exceed 55 inches in height or 85 inches in length; not recommended for fire rated projects or projects requiring safety glazing
