Drive the screw with the Pro Plug Tool using a standard drill on high speed but do not use impact driver with setting tool

Worked very well. Perfect color match. Would definitely buy again.
Quality Hidden Screws. Test depth for plugs
High quality product - 5/5. When using square edge (vs grooved) - this is easily the best look you can get. 5/5 Durability - Appears good, but will tell over time if plugs pull out or not (none so far, 4 weeks in). Ease of use 4/5. The screws through the composite boards take a little time to get started. The depth must be consistent for the plugs to fit. Determine the depth with a sample piece and screw quickly until hitting the stops of the included bit (no adjustment was needed for me).

Good in theory; Terrible in application
BUYER BEWARE: Based on my nightmare of experience with this kit, I vehemently recommend you do not rely on this as a solution for hiding fasteners. The fastener tool (that the whole system relies on) is poorly designed and cheap quality. The magnet integrated into the tool broke when driving the third fastener, and that cheap magnet is the only thing in the tool that ensures you set the correct depth of each fastener. Does what it promises!
The Starborn Pro Plug system delivers what it promises - but you've got to take your time and work intentionally. Don't go nuts with the impact driver and you'll probably be ok. The only downside is the cost/value ratio as I think it's about 20% overpriced, but just make your peace with it, work carefully, and your project should turn out great.
