Way better than Valspar. I pressure washed the driveway one morning, let it dry until the next morning, did a final sweep, and went to work. I did the driveway from the curb to the garage, and the sidewalk to the front door. Used a 3/8" nap roller on an extension handle. I bought two gallons, thinking that with the "up to 400 square feet" coverage statement, I would have more than enough. The two gallons was just enough to complete the job -- about 650 square feet. Superb Sealer
I use this sealer for many applications including my driveway and my landscaping blocks. I love it. The product goes on easily, cleans up with soap and water, has no obnoxious smell, and the matte finish looks fabulous. I prepare the surface with my pressure washer then leave to dry for a day in hot weather. I use a roller with a long extension handle to apply an even coat. Clearly seals better than the Lowes Valspar brand. And it is cheaper by about $10 per gallon. I used both. Huge difference between the two. I used Drylok brand to waterproof my basement a few years ago and it was the right thing to do. Based on that experience I was drawn to the Drylok brand to seal my concrete walks.
