While it's marketed and advertised as an 8" set, it arrived labeled and boxed as 8 1/8". The max size of a dado blade set for SawStop brake cartridge technology is 8 1/16".

Glad I spent a little extra
Love the case to protect and keep dado stack clean organized. The dado set does a great job of cutting a smooth flat bottom dado that did not need to be cleaned up. You really have to look to see the bat ears. The chippers all cur the same depth. The 24 teeth side blades and the 4 tooth chippers were very easy to set up. I used the dado stack on my 70s Craftsman 113 contractors saw with the original motor. Just have to watch the feed speed. I was unable to use the blade washer when setup for 3/4...
