This belt sander is just a beast! It rips wood like nobody’s business. Cutting the. cord was one of the best things I’ve done! Being on one battery platform makes it so much easier. I guess I’m a black and yellow fan boy! All of my Dewalt tools have been above the board, literally speaking.

Powerful, but incredibly short run time. I have 3 batteries at 6ah, trying to sand a deck - this thing only lasts a couple minutes before battery overheats

Dead simple
This belt sander has a few features that I really like. The belts are dead simple to change. Dust collection is surprisingly effective (which I wouldn't even expect) when connected to my shop vac. The variable speed trigger is a pleasure to use. And with a good power stack battery you can use it for quite awhile. The only thing that annoyed me a tad was how far down the plastic goes in the back which I find I bump on stuff. Highly recommend this product (and I'm very picky).
